IRISH CANARY

NOW SEEN ON THE SHOW BENCH AT OUR SHOWS. THE BIRTH OF IRISH CANARIES OFFICIALLY IS GIVEN TO FIVE JUDGES IN DUBLIN 1974 WHO'S JOB IT WAS TO CRATE THE STANDARD FOR THIS NEW BREED OF CANARY.

  THE IDEAL IRISH CANARY STANDARD:

CLEAR: NO DARK FEATHERS.   TICKED: ONE SOLID MARK IN PLUMAGE 12mm SQUARE IN AREA.   VARIEGATED: MORE LIGHT FEATHERS THAN DARK.   HEAVY VARIEGATED: MORE DARK FEATHERS THAN LIGHT.  THREE PARTS DARK: 75% DARK.   SELF: ALL DARK NO LIGHT FEATHERS.   FOUL: NO MORE THAN ONE SOLID LIGHT MARK IN PLUMAGE COVERED BY AN OBJECT 12mm IN AREA.
