NEW COLOUR CANARIES
The birth of Coloured Canaries was around the turn of the 20th century and can be put down to a German Dr Hans Dunker who discoverd that he could mate a South American (Red) Hooded Siskin with a Yellow Hen Canary which would produce what today is known as Apricot young. Further developments have been made with coloureds creating Brownze, Agates, Opals, Mosaic & Isable.
